MonsterBeng 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2013 (edited) Hmm... i have a question. If I only have cold water pipe supply to the kitchen and bathrooms, and i have bought those mixer taps with hot/cold combinations, will the tap still work?? Will I be able to get cold water when I turn the tap to the "hot" water side? Edited November 2, 2013 by MonsterBeng

jus4fun 4 Report post Posted November 8, 2013 (edited) Hi Jus4fun,Is your ceiling fan's light bright enough to shine the room without led lights? And is the wind strong? Can I know what brand is your ceiling fan?ThanksHi TazzerThe ceiling fan brand is Fanco (the model here is FFM4000 3-blade 48"). The light from it is just enof to lit the room generally (e.g. for watching TV, cleaning) but definitely not enof for reading & tasks that needs gd lighting. This is the only rm with ceiling fan light becos i like to hv a central o/h light over my mj table (i do on the downlights partially too during a game). Although the living rm & MBR are oso installed with a ceiling fan each, they c/w no light. The wind was quite strong initially (even at low speed; got medium & high too) but it is getting weaker over time (understand it's the problem with the remote control unit??) but i'm fine with medium speed now. I did a repair of the living rm fan (model FFM6000 5-blade 48") c/w a new remote control unit recently & it's very strong now! (The fans were installed in Jun 2012.) MonsterBeng 0 Report post Posted November 10, 2013 The plumber came and installed most of the bathroom accessories. Before the installation, the plumber told my ID that for stuff purchased online, there's a 50% chance that these items won't work. Hmm... yeah... 50%... its either [work] or [don't work] isn't it? My ID relayed the message to me and I was pretty worried about it. But so far so good....Master Bedroom toilet.. the taobao tap looks nice on it I thought...The rain shower system... and it works fine... *phew*Common toiletStorage heater from Joven, and another rain shower system
MonsterBeng 0 Report post Posted November 10, 2013 (edited) A small oval-shaped basin for my common toilet, with the same big taobao tap with waterfall effect...Water point for washing machine... they installed it this way and that effectively took away 11cm of the space for my new washing machine. Luckily the washing machine can still fit in.Effect of the rain show systemDon't understand why must they install the basin soooo close to the door side. I have to put up some trays or items to the right side of the basin to fill up the space. I wonder where the mirror will be placed then. The bathroom spray i bought from Sim Siang Choon, and it leaks! The worse part is, I did not keep the receipt given its small amount, but I did not expect SSC's stuff to be so bad. Grrr... in the end I went to NTUC to buy a replacement spray head. This is the SSC one... Edited November 10, 2013 by MonsterBeng

MonsterBeng 0 Report post Posted November 10, 2013 (edited) The ID saw the LED downlights that i purchased, and commented that they could be too small to be bright enough for lighting up the living room. He also commented that those downlights that he installed for his other customers at the altar area are bigger than what I have gotten. Then he saw the giant ceiling light for my bedroom, and commented it may be too big and bright for the bedroom, and proposed putting the light somewhere else like the living room. He then commented the 6W LED warm light that I got my both toilets could be too weak to brighten up the toilets, given that I use dark-colored tiles. KNS, like everything I bought is of the wrong size. Nevertheless, i do not wish to buy any more lights, so I'll proceed with whatever that I have got. The most i change all the lights if I am not satisfied with the effect after a few years. Edited November 11, 2013 by MonsterBeng
