Advices/tips On Doing Up My Resale Living Room

Hi,

I am getting my resale 4 room unit soon. The unit renovation was done 4 years ago, and the design was a little old fashioned. I paid quite a hefty sum for the COV, hence I would like to spend as minimum as possible to do up a feature wall and a shoes cabinet/divider in the living room.

Below are the unit layout and picture of the living room.

The living room's ceiling has cornices installed, which is considered out of fashion and difficult to match any design.

Below are some of the ideas I have in mind for the shoes cabinet/divider

The shoes cabinet/divider would be L-shaped. with short side behind the opened door, and the long side would be in front of the main door.

My theme in mind for the deco would be something like below,

Any advices and tips would be greatly appreciated.

i think you have a pretty much concept of what you looking for, maybe to enhance its to change the laminate design/color.
