Kitchen Fengshui Stove & Oven

Recommended Posts

Culture is powerful which 'makes' people submit to it without consciously realising.

Ppls always look for 'acceptable' behaviours and 'follow' these behaviours within the community.

The 'kitchen' concept and the items arrangement within which have been subject of 'modern' FS.

Facts tell us that the 'kitchen concept' has been revolving. From big family to small ones, from one-door to 2 door, then no-door (open). Materials used- used to be majority wood-made, clay, become metels, plastic, procelain, and glass. Water and fires sources keep revolving, why no one complain?

Tiolet dirty? WHY FSMs dare not commenting 'recycle water' is dirty and unfit for consumption? Simply they know what is 'power'.

灶为五事之尊!??? No $$ in pocket you will know which is 尊!

How to make more $? Arrange stove and basin here and there, help?

Increase your earning capabilities! How? Through 'learning'. No short cut.

Water can be fire and fire can be water, depends on situation. One item can have different characteristic, lets say if we define water as slow and fire as fast, so if an item is slow moving it is water, but when the item change its speed, it becomes fire. So really depends on its characteristic.

Cheers !

Firstly lets look at the word “尊”……it means the "only one". A country can only have 1 leader, too many leaders means? Messy. A country is nothing but a piece of land. Now lets look at kitchen, main usage is cooking, therefore the leader is……..the stove, so on and so forth for bedroom, studies, living and dining.

A house is seperated into zones, each have its own leader, but the stove cooks for the whole house, the sofa is where the whole family to sit, the dining table also the whole family sit. Meaning we look at the usage of the zone, is it for whole family or personal, or it can be rephrase as public or personal (公或私). At the end of the day 1 zone can only have 1 leader(诸侯国) or in Singapore we call it our district MP. I seriously cannot imagine one district have 2 parties ruling, I can say if 2 parties ruling means argue more then execution.

Above are simple thoughts of FS.

Cheers !

A single tier, or multiple tier board is 'better'? Depend.

A functional structure or a matrix structure is 'better'? Depend.

The brain or *** hole is more important in human body? You know I know, not everyone understands.

In 'brainsorming' session, the more ideas the better. Various 'perspectives' are sought.

One decision maker is better or 'collective' decision model is better? Again, depend.

'Stove' is the 'only one' in 'that zone'???

Who sets this rule?

Can I don't have 'stove' - all 'tabao' and use all electric heaters?

Ppls will then argue 'heaters' are 'stoves'........

'Think out of the box'.

Yes its stove too. When we use heat, think how big a place we are in, if the place is small, use small heat, if not the space will be too hot.

Actually the whole idea is separate out the zone clearly. Cos activity have 动或静. Normally traditional chinese cultural at the dining table, don't eat and talk, its impolite or eat and watch TV its bad for health.

FS is supposed not to be culture embraced, but....'problems' are: ppls put cultures into their so-called 'FS'.

Examples:

Stove vs basin - explain in fire vs water context. Completely inappropriate.

- Growing plants along building wall to shield away 'unwanted' sun's heat is FS application.

- Electric fan installed at deemed 'hot' place for cooling purposes is FS application.

FS is not abt Chinese lunar 7th month can do this and cannot do that. Lunar 7th month is part of Chinese's culture.

- 'Synergy effect' is FS application. Chinese explains it as cause and effect of 'small man' and 'expensive man'.

Hitting the paper-made 'small man' diminishes the real 'small man' surrounded? And bring the 'expensive man'?

Round air duct shaped like 'snake' is a snake?

'Sharp' corners are 'blades' and 'shas"?

FS concerns 'logic' that brings effectiveness and efficiency get things done as well as balance between human members.

The cultural factor comes in about bringing balance between human members. We live within 'community culture' - set of norms, rituals that govern the 'acceptable behaviour' of each members. Majority 'wins', or speaks 'louder'. We 'look around' then behave.

Many threads in this forum deal with 'look around'.

There are different schools of thoughts and the method relating to Gua numbers are from the 8 Mansion theory. This topic was widely discussed in other threads, as well as my own Reno blog.

Our mind level should be able to answer this stupid analogy of 'fire vs water' issue.

Why so pantang? Education seems down the drain liao

We're already in 3rd industrial revolution!

4th industrial revolution is at door step you know?

Who would set up a hod for food cooking while putting a sink hundred meter away!

Backside itchy, isn't?

What's wrong standing by a pail of water to the fire source? For just in case.

If this issue really bothers you, I suggest either completely NO water supply, or completely no gas/electricity at home.

Your mind will be 'at peace'. But your body will be very tired satisfying your physical needs.

Christians are welcome but don't come here and talk offend another practise. You wouldn't want people to say the word "stupid analogy" with some practises in your religion tio bo?

Break bread is breaking "body"? Slaughter lamb can represent sacrifice? Respect people's practises or tradition or culture is giving respect back to your own religion.

Am not directing or 'intrude' into/at any religions or cultures - since FS originates from orient, inevitably - some cultural issues would get connected.

Read 'my 2 cents worth' with critical thinking, please.

I like & love this place so much, please, please, please don't chase me away.

Am a steward, not master, an user like everybody here, not the shareholder or owner to this forum place.

Most importantly, don't 'mis-align' my '2 cents worth', intended or unintended, to have become source of ammunition :fire: by he/she who can't apply critical thinking.

A blanga neighbour who rented the house, came to me and said, "why you apply the stupid gatsby hair jam on your head? So expensive and smelly. Here, use my ghee, worth 2 cents.

Critical thinking? His, not mine.
