Tan Ah Yong started renovating my 3 room flat since jan 2013 and till today, it's only half done. Took my $20k , no supervision, poor china worker, extremely lousy workmanship, always never answer call, full of excuses.

Do not be conned when he said he is the owner of so and so company and he is a HDB licensed renovation contractor.

I am stuck with him as he has my money and it has been a living **** for me in the last 6 months

Trust me, do not engaged Tan Ah Yong!

I have just lodge a police report and will be reporting Tan Ah Yong to HDB and Sub court

I engaged this guy for my whole unit reno. Work not finished. Put up an act created sympathy and collected full payment. Now Mia. I Dunno what to do.

I went to small claims court no use.

He didnt even appear

This a$$h0le is established con man

We need to catch and put him in prison ( not sure if he is committing an offence ie cheating )

Otherwise he will survive robbing young people of their money and dreams

My experience with Ah Yong was quite okay. He delivered the work albeit a bit slow but at a very good price. However he did cautioned me about his speed when I placed my deposit with him. Perhaps the smaller scale of project and clear communication that kept everyone synchronised helped in my case.
