bepgof 20 Report post Posted June 24, 2013 There is no such thing as -'best' house loan rate - One size simply can't fit all.House loans' catch varies by each offeror.A 'good loan' 'now' is one with < 2% IR. I predict next q1, IR will climb up to >2%-2.5%.MAS, few wks ago, in a one-year investigation, over ST's front page, mentioned someones intended to manipulate some financial benchmarks - like sibor, sor, etc. Some banks not 'honoured' in short, or don't follow the book. They tried to influence these benchmarks to their advantage - the 'artificial hand', not Adam Smsith's 'invisible hands'..... MAS now wants to be a non-executive director on the Board. Good sight. Car loan was 1.68% to recent's 2.88% after the 50% DP/5 yr instalment - again, it is the work of 'artificial hand', not 'invisible hands'. Forget about the S/D theory. Hendry Ford knew best. Who has power, who calls the shot - determine the rates - take it or leave it.They lead, you follow.
