tobehappy 0 Report post Posted September 5, 2013 I have already bought some lights from lightings.com.sg but I have not chosen a dining light yet. I wonder which light would be more suitable to go with my dining area... hmm...
tobehappy 0 Report post Posted September 5, 2013 Probably get a Crestar fan too, since my id, as well as colleague, recommends it. or Would prefer this 3-blade one, but it is more costly.
macuser77 1 Report post Posted September 5, 2013 Most importantly, this must be framed and displayed somewhere. Otherwise, I'll hear no end from my little girl.Nice picture! What a talented little girl! This should be the centerpiece of your house!
tobehappy 0 Report post Posted September 5, 2013 Nice picture! What a talented little girl! This should be the centerpiece of your house! Thanks. But I think she only wants it in the bedroom. She likes to paint and wanted to paint a field with animals recently. So everything was in except the animals. Then we stopped and cleaned up. She got angry when I told her that the animals had gone off and were hiding. Then she started crying! sigh...
macuser77 1 Report post Posted September 5, 2013 Until now, I still do not know what theme to adopt. Should focus on the flooring for inspiration I think! But wah, if brave enough, I don't mind a HK theme! I also wished to hack hack and hack, but now need to cut cost, so if can save, save lor!Don't need theme. Keep the reno simple and basic, and accessorize it with beautiful furniture and knick knacks. My wife said your daughter's paintings wilk make the home bright and cheery

My wife said your daughter's paintings wilk make the home bright and cheery Somehow, those little cute knick knacks when accumulated can cost quite a lot too. Most likely, no theme lah. More interested in making sure that everything else is in order. Hee. Thank your wife for me. She's very generous with her comment.

tobehappy 0 Report post Posted September 8, 2013 I went to Comex today as it is the last day of the exhibition. The sole purpose was to get an internet subscription. In the end, signed up with ViewQwest. Definitely not the cheapest around. All those installation and activation fees are payable. Anyway, I was quite surprised that I could use credit card to pay these by 24 instalments. Their claims on helping us to spread out upfront cost into smaller amounts over a longer period of time. I was quite amused.Anyway, I think I would be looking forward to the VQ TV. From a brochure:I have absolutely no love for MIO TV and Starhub TV does not interest me. Got these before, but I seldom watched them. In fact, I gave up using the MIO TV after a few times. Hopefully, the new one will be better.
tobehappy 0 Report post Posted September 8, 2013 I'm rather excited although there is nothing much to be excited about. My mini reno is going to start tomorrow!

macuser77 1 Report post Posted September 8, 2013 Oh yes, and my wife said it feels like we're in Hong Kong whenever we watch their live channels. Haha. As though we're watching it in the hotel room.

I'm intending to put it in my room. Now I can't wait for it to be installed and to start watching! Your fault! I loooove TVB, but I have not watch its programmes for a long time already. Can't even remember what was the last title I watched. Hopefully, the Korean drama list would be good too.
tobehappy 0 Report post Posted September 8, 2013 By the way, did you still use the Freedom VPN to watch TVB after the free subscription ended? Or did you just watch without it?
