Hello,

I just want to introduce the electrician who came to my house to replace my water heater and changed a faulty wire. He is a jovial and accommodating guy. His fee is very reasonable.

If you want to try Ah Zhong at 92989235. Say you were recommended by the Toa Payoh guy who he changed the faulty wire while connecting the wire to the water heater.

Hi glad u managed to engage ZenterrA as when I met mr lye yesterday to purchase lightings, he told me too busy to accept any more jobs. Right choice to engage them. Lightings are comparatively cheaper n free installation provided.

i'll like to recommend an electrician, william 91501952

he uses only quality wires, switches and cables. responsible; able to give 'guarantee' for his work.

quality comes at a price. his quote is not the cheapest, but not expensive either.

highly recommended. please give feedback here if you engage him.

just some recent feedback for william (hp 91501952):

my mother-in-law used william recently after moving into her new condo. she was very happy because he advised her on what work was NOT necessary (so need not do it and can save money) and what should be done. the pricing was not expensive.

but he's very busy, so it was quite difficult to book him to come over for a quotation (we had to call him 3-4 times because of his popularity) - but he was quick to commence work once the quotation was accepted.

for simple work he said he can give quotes over the phone, for more complicated work (running of wires for additional power sockets, etc, at multiple locations) he may have to come down to take a look - when he's free! quotation and visits are not charged.

friendly man. job well done. we would use him again!

Hello everyone, i would love to recommand Sebastian. Engaged his services to rewired our 5 rms flat. Had ask some other electrician recommanded in this topic to come over to quote as well as Sebastian. Though Sebastian is not the cheapest among all, but his respond is the fastest. After seeing the recommandation of Sebastian, my hubby and i decided to go with him.

Sebastian is friendly and easy to talk with. As mentioned, this guy is really young but experience. The first site meeting with Sebastian and my Designer is an eye opener. Can really tell how experience he is as he went through the points needed for our unit and even my designer got to come to me and say "Wow, where you find this electrician? He knows his stuffs well". My hubby and i were really impressed and glad that we engaged the right person for the job.

The first day of electrical work (Dismantling of old cables), Sebastian and his team came at 9am, start dismantle all the electrical stuffs and the old lightings and so on. He really made the effort to take care of our marble flooring. my hubby even got his brothers to standby to clean up the unit after Sebastian and his guys is done with the dismantling, around 3 pm, we received a msg from Sebastian saying the dismantling is completed. So my hubby and i and his brothers went to the unit to do cleaning, when we step into the unit, we were really surprised. the whole unit is clean and cleared. Guess Sebastian and team had cleaned up the place and the debis. Really

Next, wiring works, Sebastian brought his team of 3 to our unit and start the wiring works. They have started at 9am and ended at 7pm. My hubby received his msg at 7pm that they have completed the wiring works. My hubby says cannot believe it lo so he wanted to go to the unit to check. He came back home with a surprised face. YES they've completed the wiring works! My Designers called the next day and say he was impressed too. My Designer also says that "Your electrician is giving me pressure lo, do thing so fast then i also must keep up to his pace"

Next, Installation of Fans and lightings. Just for your information, we have in total of 42 downlights and 5 ceiling lights and 2 fans to be installed. Guess what? Sebastian came in the morning with 2 of his guys and they completed the job in a day again. Seriously very determind and hardworking guy he is. My hubby was at the unit "So call inspect the progress" said Sebastian does the installation himself too. My huuby even ask Sebastian why he as a boss got to do the installation himself. Guess what, he says thats how he motivate his guys, by working together is the way to bond. hahahaha.

Lastly, Installation of sockets and handover. Sebastian came with just one of his guy and finished up the works and he went around doing the final touch up and he handed over our unit to us 3 weeks ago. My hubby and i was really happy with the service Sebastian had provided us right from the start. He got very high standards on his workmanship and his workers. That's why my hubby and i agrees that our electrical work is in safe hands. Really glad that we had made the right choice in selecting Sebastian to be our electrician. Was satified with everything so far. Oh yes and not forgeting his high standard for lights fittings, this boss will go around the unit doing the measurements and use his LASER to make sure that our downlights were in line. super duper professional.

Sorry for the long winded testimonal, But seriously would recommand Sebastian highly. You will not regret in engaging his services.

Hi, Can you share his number with me? In dire need of an electrician!!

Quite a number of items. R u able to give me a quotation?

My purpose of asking that question is trying to understand which items u felt expensive ? Have u made a comparison to conclude that the item is expensive or u just feel its expensive ?

Unable to give u a quotation but i know roughly whats the pricing like... +/- 10-20% of averaged market pricing, your quotation is still considered acceptable. Maybe u can try ask for a discount and u may get lucky...

Had made comparison with others. However this guy is from my ID so was thinking whether to let him have the job. Do u have any recommendation?

I do have a few contacts but as u mentioned u already engaged an ID, my personal advice would be to u let ur id manage the electrician since they know each other. The reason is their rapport already built up n this electrician will also understand ur id more thus making the work more smoothly. In the event of any problems, at least ur id can be held responsible and able to help u solve it. If u source ur own electrician, u have more liabilities.

If u feel the quotation is abit expensive , you should try to talk with ur id for some discount, shouldnt be too difficult. If this fail then seek alternative :yamseng:

hi. again, i'm recommending uncle william. my husband just asked him to install more ventilation fans (now i have 4 in my home *palms face*). william showed my husband how to smell-proof our 2nd floor hdb flat, and gave him heavy duty double-sided tape. but that is a different topic.

why am i recommending him? i have recommended him twice before on this forum and i still do. i like that he uses ONLY good cables and switches. he showed me the difference between low quality and quality cables. quality cables are thicker, last longer and (i think) withstand a higher current. i replaced a switch myself for an electrical outlet. he checked it and told me i bought the wrong switch. that plastic switch can melt down and he gave me a better switch with some metal parts. because of that, i always call him for minor electrical works after i moved into my new home. all for a very reasonable price. thumbss up!

i like the assurance that the cabling in my home is not slipshod since poor cabling can cause fires, and my home is newly renovated (1 year).

his number is 91501952. he is not my relative or friend, and this is not an advertisement! if you have any electrical work done by him as a result of this post, please share it here.

Was online looking for an electrician to do minor jobs for my shop house office at JooChiat. found this article written by tinsel. So my boss called him and to his surprise, the quote given was good! Others quoted 3X more than him!!! *faint* So much cheaper and the workmanship is GOOD! Of cos i won't tell how much he quoted. Cannot spoilt others market mah... :P Just give him a call, tell him what you want to repair and he will give you great workmanship and great price! He did everything by himself for my office. He came down on this wednesday to take a look and came down again today for repair. My boss ask him to repair one more thing and thought he might change the quote. But he didn't! :thumbs up:

Anyway i purposely register to this website just to recommend him. His company is CAY ELECTRICAL & RENOVATION CONSTRUCTION 306 Changi Road 5 M.S (S) 419784 William Yip 91501952 Ooh his name card written "we specialise in all kinds of renovation works" So people, perhaps can call him for major reno too.

Thanks uncle william! My boss was so pleased that he said he will recommend others to you. and he will think of you everytime whenever repairs are needed too. AHHAahahaa. :dancingqueen:

CHEERS!!! :yamseng:
