You can contact Ah Kang HP 96184168, then tell him you want Ah Pei to do it. Ah Pei is a very skilled electrician and his brain on the wiring is very good. His whole family members are electricians.

Hi all, after looking through this thread, I engaged Ah Keong who was recommended by others. Ah Keong did all the electrical works for my 4 room HDB flat and I am certainly very pleased with his workmanship and attitude. A jovial person with good service, very flexible and accommodating. I have to admit that I am quite troublesome, changed the layout a few times but Ah Keong accommodate all my requests even though he has already laid the cable. His workers are also very experienced and definitely know what they are doing.

As for costs wise, I am not sure if Ah Keong is the cheapest in town as I only compared between him and my ID's electrician. My ID's electrician quoted me $5K plus and Ah Keong is about $2k cheaper. The original quote was $3600 but this amount will increase as I have added a few more plugs and ceiling light point (renovation is still onging) However, Ah Keong provided free Legrand switch which I understand is of better quality whereas my ID's electrician provided MK switch.

I would highly recommend Ah Keong. You will not regret engaging him.

Hello everyone, i would love to recommand Sebastian. Engaged his services to rewired our 5 rms flat. Had ask some other electrician recommanded in this topic to come over to quote as well as Sebastian. Though Sebastian is not the cheapest among all, but his respond is the fastest. After seeing the recommandation of Sebastian, my hubby and i decided to go with him.

Sebastian is friendly and easy to talk with. As mentioned, this guy is really young but experience. The first site meeting with Sebastian and my Designer is an eye opener. Can really tell how experience he is as he went through the points needed for our unit and even my designer got to come to me and say "Wow, where you find this electrician? He knows his stuffs well". My hubby and i were really impressed and glad that we engaged the right person for the job.

The first day of electrical work (Dismantling of old cables), Sebastian and his team came at 9am, start dismantle all the electrical stuffs and the old lightings and so on. He really made the effort to take care of our marble flooring. my hubby even got his brothers to standby to clean up the unit after Sebastian and his guys is done with the dismantling, around 3 pm, we received a msg from Sebastian saying the dismantling is completed. So my hubby and i and his brothers went to the unit to do cleaning, when we step into the unit, we were really surprised. the whole unit is clean and cleared. Guess Sebastian and team had cleaned up the place and the debis. Really

Next, wiring works, Sebastian brought his team of 3 to our unit and start the wiring works. They have started at 9am and ended at 7pm. My hubby received his msg at 7pm that they have completed the wiring works. My hubby says cannot believe it lo so he wanted to go to the unit to check. He came back home with a surprised face. YES they've completed the wiring works! My Designers called the next day and say he was impressed too. My Designer also says that "Your electrician is giving me pressure lo, do thing so fast then i also must keep up to his pace"

Next, Installation of Fans and lightings. Just for your information, we have in total of 42 downlights and 5 ceiling lights and 2 fans to be installed. Guess what? Sebastian came in the morning with 2 of his guys and they completed the job in a day again. Seriously very determind and hardworking guy he is. My hubby was at the unit "So call inspect the progress" said Sebastian does the installation himself too. My huuby even ask Sebastian why he as a boss got to do the installation himself. Guess what, he says thats how he motivate his guys, by working together is the way to bond. hahahaha.

Lastly, Installation of sockets and handover. Sebastian came with just one of his guy and finished up the works and he went around doing the final touch up and he handed over our unit to us 3 weeks ago. My hubby and i was really happy with the service Sebastian had provided us right from the start. He got very high standards on his workmanship and his workers. That's why my hubby and i agrees that our electrical work is in safe hands. Really glad that we had made the right choice in selecting Sebastian to be our electrician. Was satified with everything so far. Oh yes and not forgeting his high standard for lights fittings, this boss will go around the unit doing the measurements and use his LASER to make sure that our downlights were in line. super duper professional.

Sorry for the long winded testimonal, But seriously would recommand Sebastian highly. You will not regret in engaging his services.

I just wonder, if you are staying in HDB, why not use Town Council electrician?

i went to my town council (tanjong pagar) website. no recommendations leh. anyways, town council comes to my flat quite often. bin chute problem. pipe leaking problem. smell problem. always come with different contractor. although town council is very helpful, i don't really trust their contractors. btw, except for william who was recommended by my in-laws, i get all my contacts from this forum. so far so good.

and all the hdb contractors i met so far (during the course of fixing up my newly acquired but sibeh old, problematic flat), very slip shod and expensive.

Installing my aircon this week and needed to run a 15 amp socket as brand new installation. Initially called zentera last thursday and spoke to one of their staff. He quoted me a very good price and told me this week can install. Will get back to me with the timing for tuesday or wednesday. Got a call from zentera on monday saying cant install this week. Earliest can do would be next week. Not their fault i guess, probably some mis communication amongst them. But that may be due to many quotations they are handling. The lady from zentera was very polite and apologised so i told her it was ok and would source another person.

Called uncle william (and many hdb contractors and those i found online) after zentera hung up ,and he said he could squeese me in for today. Timing was a little late but he came and did a really splendid job. Very clean and neat work. Also had to change the MCB as it was already 25 years old( other contractors i called also advised me on this and mostly quoted for mcb alone 300-500) , but uncle william gave me a very good price. In total he took about 3 hours but i guess thats why everything was neatly installed.

A few things to note : He is very busy, so have to call him twice or thrice to get him to answer.

: He told me 9am but only made it at 12.45. ( Called him at around 10.40 only then told me he could make it at 12+ as was stuck at another person house)

Overall a little flaws but very satisfied with his service and workmanship

I would still engage zentera for my upcomming bto as i believe they would do a great job on a full project.

I would engage william for small electrical issues or installations

I called him 2 weeks ago to arrange for an appt to fix my spoilt lights and over the phone he indeed sounded friendly and nice, An appt was schedule on 22 Jun 2013 (Sat) afternoon, but on that Sat morning I watsapp him to remind him of the appt, he then replied he injured his legs so hv to postone till today (2 Jul 2013 11am).

Guess what?! I waited from 11am till 12.30pm and tried contacting him but he nvr answer my watsapp or calls!! Actually i even watsapp him lastnite to remind him today's appt, but he nvr reply!

If you still wish to engage this William, better think twice unless u like to waitttt...... for NOTHING!
