kangeroo168 10 Report post Posted April 12, 2013 ok. civil PE is normally known as PE, or, just engineer.if u want to hack some walls (i'm talking about HDB, cos i knocked my house walls before), and perhaps that wall is, per casted, or load bearing (forgot what is the exact terms HDB gave last time), u will need to engage a PE to see whether this wall is fit for knocking. then the PE will evaluate whether this wall can be knocked or not. if the wall can be knocked, the PE u engaged will give them (HDB) a letter or some sort of certification that the particular wall can be knock. thats all..if u want cheap PE, just pm me. i engaged a PE for less than 500 dollars. however, this is for HDB. if urs is condo, then u may have to negotiate yourself. hope that helps..
