Today I managed to drop by Journey East to check out the furniture that they have. I immediately fall in love with this table. But wifey thinks that it is too rough/industrial look :(

My 2nd option will be this one:

It looks similar to this one that is shown in Home and Decor website:

Either of these will make me happy haha, but they surely cost a bomb lol. Need to work out the budget carefully.

Also saw this cute trolley there:

And this tv console:

I think Journey East is gonna burst my budget hahaha.. Plus, I also like the coffee table that White Cookie picked lol.

Actually you can try getting those wooden kitchen tops from ikea and make your own dining table.

Should be more recession friendly. Google ikea hacks for some ideas.

I am getting the dining table from Ethnicraft. Visited their showroom and quite impressed with the quality. Price-wise, not the cheapest, but still cheaper than Journey East haha..

@mrmerry, yeahh, wheeled dining table is rather too rough/adventurous. I scrapped the idea, but I am probably getting a wheeled tv console though :P

I've been really busy lately with office works and weddings, and didn't have much time to monitor the progress of my renovation (my wife is the one monitoring haha).

Anyway, I dropped by this evening and managed to capture a few quick shots.

Kitchen + Dining space, our dining table will be placed in front of the household shelter (which is now covered with burmese teak :D)

Our livingroom, seen from the corridor, to the left is the entrance to our common bathroom, we relocated the bathroom door from kitchen to the corridor to allocate space for our cabinets hehe.

Our common bathroom:

Guest bedroom. Nothing fancy here, we leave it blank for now haha.

My studyroom. Again, nothing fancy, I will only have study table, drybox and probably will pick up some cupboards from Journey East later on.

Here is our master bedroom. We are waiting for the carpenter to assemble the bed frame and wardrobe next week. So now, it's still pretty empty.
