astragtc123 0 Report post Posted March 26, 2013 Hi, i just bought a 3 room HDB resale. 3I, 59 sq metre.Wanna renovate but want to save on budget....So i thought in order to save costs, i will(a) Cement screed on floor and wall of kitchen - industrial theme ( after hack away old ugly tiles )(b) Polish the terrazo floor on living and bedroom and use retro theme Anyone can give comment if this idea is cheaper and how much can i save...Also does contractor have skillset to do this or need ID ?? Another way if you prefer to do a cement finish look is to top up a very thin layer of cementitious finish.A specialist contractor have more skill set to do all these than and ID.
