elvis 0 Report post Posted March 14, 2013 Hi all,Today i went to HN to check it out the fridge. Initially i am basing on the tick and size to choose .Actually i am looking for fridge capacity which below 400 liter. This is the interesting part, when i check out the Hitachi fridge, the sales told me that more ticks doesn't mean good. Hitachi will give you mosquito probem due to the water leak out from the rear part which it suppose to be dried automatically. I am wondering whether this is truth. Can anyone advise? ClearValley 0 Report post Posted March 18, 2013 Not sure if they are accurate, but salespeople at HN and Courts all say that 3 ticks and 4 ticks don't differ much in terms of annual electricity consumption. Difference would be less than SGD 20 per annum only. I haven't done the math, but if they are correct, then there's not much incentive in buying a 4-tick ref over a 3-tick one. Estimated 50 dollars different per annual.I think it also depend on how cold the setting is, how frequent to open and close the fridge..
