anyone has any suggestion on the window panels cleaning??

the window handle is another issue...

managed to get a similar from Handyman shop at Shaw building...but then depth of the handle is not correct .... sigh,,, :(

and for those who want to buy hard to find hardwares stuff for house..try checking with the Handyman Centre....there are many things which you havent seen for ages and some hard to find stuffs..

the shop owners are very friendly as well..

Monk8 you can try getting the Japanese magic sponge at NTUC. It look like a block of white sponge. It does wonder to remove "yellowish stain" from old switch, etc

for the past week which is week9, there are 5 carpenters working to get everything up...

frankly speaking, i would like to watch them fix up the wardrobes and cabinets to ensure everything is correct but it's tough and I'm basically blocking their way around as well...

But i went to check daily for an hour or so....and had discovered major issues..

master bedroom and bathroom wardrobe and cabinets sizes are wrong!! :angry2:

yes, ID showed me the dimensions agreed but when it's up, it is so wrong...it's right up to the door frames!

imagine opening the door and you see the cabinet/ wardrobe right next to you....visually it's very enclosed!!

asked to change the dimension shorter...

then ouch!!

one of the carpenter dent a hole in the kitchen wall!!

sigh....tough work checking and asking them to be careful...

finally my reno blog is up to date...this week is the last week...

didnt have time to update week by week as it's been very busy - reno and work and shopping around for lights, sanitary items and stuffs....

hoping everything will go well this week..

ID informed that final cleaning, painting, varnishing and whatever are done next few days...

may i know for those of you who had already reno...do you have soft-closing cabinets?

how many types of soft closing are there??

for mine, you have to open more than 45 degree to get the soft-closing effect....is that correct? if i open like 10 degree, the door will slam...noisily...

i thought there is another type where it will soft closed no matter how wide you open the door....but my ID said that type is not good and will spoilt very easily...

anyone who had soft closing...please comment...

- sanitary items not installed

- still have 1 cabinet door not done yet.
