Hi sherting, it was originally a PLC light but we have requested to change it to LED light. It is a 40W LED for the kitchen. The cost is $238 before GST.

We chose this quartz for our kitchen top to match the laminate that's selected.

The workers are sanding the parquet floor and the newly installed treads on the first flight of stairs.

Treads on the lower flight are new. We retain the treads on 2nd floor to save cost. Is there a big difference in colour?

I understand u changed the orientation of ur lower flight of stairs. Is the gradient the same as before? Any reason for the change? Fengshui reason?

We don't believe in FS. If go by FS theory, our layout has lots of taboos and we are doomed......LOL

Change the direction of the stairs for (1) to breaks the eyeline sight between the entrance and the living area; meaning people walking past the corridor do not look right into the living area (2) to create more space for our round dining table

The gradient looks almost the same. I didn't really check but contractor said same.

Last visit to the flat was last Sunday. After 4 days, finally carpentry work has started!

I can see some carpentry works done in the dinning area, living area and bedrooms and the glass railings on the first flight of stairs are installed.

Thanks, HappyAng.

He said most likely on April 20th but by the look of the progress I wouldn't hold my breath.

9 more days.. I help u countdown.. :sport-smiley-004:

Must press contractor when date is near. I went down on site everyday this week just to ensure things are done correctly and speed up the process.

Thanks heap......LOL.

I went down last Sunday and then this afternoon. I can't afford to go down daily as everyday when I go during lunch hour, I ended up with an extended lunch break! If this goes on, I might lose my job! My spouse used to go down in my absence but he is away on a business trip since last week.
