The officer in charge responded to the email I wrote him to clarify if I can remove the horizontal metal section, he said it is part of the architecture features of the building that must be retained. Bummer!

Ya that's what my ID told us. He said some inexperienced ID duno and removed it. He told us die die cannot remove though it can be an eye sore. I have seen some EM owners hang their laundry pole with support of that metal bar.

The husband and I decided to hop over to the flat to check it out. When I arrived it was almost 7:00pm. There are some (not much) progress and quickly I took out the camera-phone and took a few pictures before the sky turns dark.

Trunking of the aircon pipes have been done. Pictures below are taken this morning.

The trunking is done in the guest's room and behind this wall is my daughter's room

The connection made from the guest's room to my daughter's room. This big 'lobang' will be patched up.....of course :-)

This is how the trunking is done in the master bedroom.

U-channel and treads on the first flight of stairs are up. Treads need sanding, polishing and varnishing before it is completely done up.

We went to select lights. Chandelier is not in our shopping list since we have decided to install ceiling fans in the entire flat. We just chose simple light fitting so long it does the job. But due to the fact that there are lots of ceiling lights, we ended up buying over 40 light-fitting, with mix of PLC and LED lights. The cost is more than we thought it would be.

Met up with the contractor this afternoon to discuss on some carpentry works before the carpenter starts working on the kitchen, wardrobes and shoes cabinet. We have purchase lights since only last week and the 1st coat of painting was done only on Monday, we then decided to change some laminates now as things are shaping up

Initially, the husband does not want to plaster the wall but after discussion with the contractor, for aesthetic reason, he decided to plaster up the entire unit and in fact, it does look better than rock stone wall effect.

I will be replacing some of the images of laminates which we had selected earlier to keep this T-blog updated.

The light in the 2nd picture is nice! How much did you pay for it? Is it LED?
