Icez 0 Report post Posted January 29, 2013 (edited) This is my second and final home for me and my family. Decided to stay in the East this time round and share my experience with all in Renotalk.Have been reading the T-blogs whenever I'm free to get more tips and ideas while waiting for my second appointment with HDB. Now, we've finally completed our HDB sales transaction after a long delay from my buyers, and gotten the keys in December 2012.The house is really in a bad condition, so we will have to remake the whole house. My floorplan for sharing: Edited January 29, 2013 by Icez

Icez 0 Report post Posted January 29, 2013 ID HuntWe went to a couple of IDs for discussion. We are very clear with the things we wanted to do and the budget that we could afford, so we do not really need professional services on space planning and furniture layout. Below are the few companies which we asked for quotes and proposals:(1) ###### Werkz (2) Y-Axis I.D(3) Pavilion (4) Space Interiors(5) Plush Living(6) .(7) Friends' Referral(8) Contractor ReferralWe signed up the Kitchen Cabinet Package with ###### during the Expo Fair, and it cost us $4.8K (for 20 ft top and bottom cabinets with blum system) with 3D Perspective Drawing for us. We decided to take this up first before deciding on the rest of the reno package. The 3D drawings are out, but we will decide on the design again at a later date.Design 1Design

Icez 0 Report post Posted January 29, 2013 similar layout with my 4 room flat. of coz mine is smaller size.Jia you! which part of pasir ris?mine at st 51I like this layout, it allows us to separate the areas easily during space planning. But there are some minor fallbacks for my house due to old structure. There are a lot of walls which could not be hacked. The MBR is quite small due to the toilet ( which can't be hacked) and there are 2 drop down ceilings which cant be hacked too. At first, we wanted an open concept kitchen but was unable to do it due to beams etc.. so we dropped the idea..Anyway my new house is in Tampines, one mrt stop away (",)

Do you mean all those darker walls (in ur floor plan) cannot be hacked? mine was in the form of pillars. For mine, the previous owners already hacked the wall between bedroom 2 and MBR. it's neither here nor there coz of the pillar.i think my place got beams oso.. but we're probably still going for open concept kitchen. =)

Your flat also resale?
