Please Help -Real Of Synthetic Leather?

I just received delivery of full leather sofa set over the weekend and I found some defects on it.

Please see pictures below which is self explanatory. I was told it is 100% genuine leather. I have my reservations after taking macro shots of the defects.

Is there anywhere that I can go get a professional opinion on this?

Looking at the condition of the leather, I think your leather sofa is from China.

what is the brand or shop that u bought from ? and how much u pay ?

To be fair and unbias, I cannot disclose the shop name and price until I can verify and authenticate the material used.

I hope to get an professional and unbias opinion based solely on the these high resolution close up pictures I have provided.

I am quite sure it is not genuine cowhide. Very like PU.

Agree with Sam, think its PU. Remember my upholster guy Adrian told me leather backing dont comes in white, should be grey.

Moreover, he did show me once with PU material and told me not to use them as PU peel easily although PU feels more like leather compared to synthetic leather.

Oh, Adrian also told me the first step is to snift to see whether its has leather 'smell' to know if its genuine??

the sofa you got is leather, but whether is geniune cowhide or buffalo hide gotta check,

anyway its not PU and quickly get a exchange ASAP.

its not peel its cracks.
