Pelect 3 Report post Posted July 5, 2013 Hi Pelect,I will only start to collate my list and buy after my wedding next year and when my BTO flat is about to be completed.Originality wise every country will have OEM kind of factory and authorized factory/agents.Only in SG everything is mark up.Comparing our nearest neighbour Msia,JB its cheaper there if u wanna source and travel.Congrats on your upcoming wedding!Yes OEM is fine but it's the fakes that's scary.I noted many people buy electrical stuff from overseas but some of them the quality is so bad that's it not safe because we are dealing with greater than 50V which can kill.I once bought an adapter plug locally (no brand but you know where) which was supposed to have the metal earth pin grounded but when I dismantle it, it was not connected; i.e. there is no earthing. This is not only cheating but it's also dangerous. I think for those things that are not safety related, it's probably ok. The most is just throw it away.I buy most of my electrical stuff locally. I find Hager brand is relatively cheap and quality is very good. Legrand is expansive and I haven't come across Siemens switches locally. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Coz it did not show how the underneath of the sink look like e.g the protective coating underneath the sink. I was actually looking at Pasun brand of sink until you post this.
