Slatted Bed Frame - Need To Add One Big Piece Of Wood?

Recommended Posts

Promoters from Sealy and Omazz said when using slatted bed frame, it's advisable to add a big piece of wood on top of bed frame so in the long run, the springs won't "fall" into the gaps in between wooden planks of the base.

Anyone did this before? I'm thinking whether to heed the advice of the promotors.

do it......

Do you have any experience in this? One promotor advised to wrap the big piece of wood with fabric, then place mattress on top. Is the fabric a must?
