Inverter Multi-Split Aircon: Mhi Vs Panasonic Vs Europace

Recommended Posts

Went to Courts today as they are having a super promo for Panasonic System 4 Inverter system (3 sets of fancoil at 9000BTU each) at $2599 including 3yr installation warranty and 5yrs extended warranty. This price is about $500 cheaper than Gain City, Allbest or Aircon Gallery. However, not 1 but a total of 3 Courts salesman suggested to me to take the Europace

1. The fancoil plastic cover for the Panasonic system is very filmsy and they have received several complaints about cracked cover. This piece of plastic cover will actually vibrate with the fancoil as it cannot be clipped firmly to the fancoil.

2. The Europace system is the same as per the Mitsubishi Electric system as Europace is actually the manufacturer for Mitsubishi Starmex and they are sharing the same components. If there are any problems with the Europace system, the repairman will use Mitsubishi parts to repair.

3. The Eurpoace system is quiter than Panasonic.

4. They are running the promotion for Panasonic and Panasonic is clearing stock for this current mode.

5. For the same price as per the Panasonic system, Europace offers 2 units of 9000BTU for the smaller rooms + 1 unit of 12000BTU for the masterbedroom.

Anyone here using Europace? If yes, what are your comments about this brand? I need to confirm fast as my reno is scheduled to start mid Jan.

Hi!

I also went Courts Megastore yesterday and was attracted to their free 5 years extended warranty. Saw a lot of brands there including Europace however, no one recommended me the Europace..instead they recommend me to 'Midea' when i ask about Mitsubishi..

hmm i think the more stable brands are like Mitsubishi and Fujitsu...and decided not to take the risk as i do not think many people use Europace and Midea..hence i decided to go with Fujitsu... :)

Hi normanho23, just wondering did you get EuropAce inverter aircon in the end? If so, which model did you get and can you share how your experience using it? Did you encounter any major issues? Thanks.
