MiracleSG 0 Report post Posted June 3, 2013 Isit a good idea to run aircon piping under tiles?Unless you wanna re-tile if your air-con pipes got problem. And I think tiles can last a lot longer than pipes.
MiracleSG 0 Report post Posted June 3, 2013 (edited) I think my light brown laminate is admira, the rest r EDL. What types of solid top does ur contractor have?I can't recall the brand coz I was quite focused on quartz as we wanted white and something easy to maintain. But saw your White Diamond, really swept us over. Edited June 3, 2013 by MiracleSG

juxstapose 2 Report post Posted June 4, 2013 Unless you wanna re-tile if your air-con pipes got problem. And I think tiles can last a lot longer than pipes. Will pipes leak that easily?
MiracleSG 0 Report post Posted June 4, 2013 I believe joints are a source for leaks. Plus condensation also plays a part in undermining the integrity of the pipes.
juxstapose 2 Report post Posted June 4, 2013 So putting the pipes below the tiles is a leap of faith?
MiracleSG 0 Report post Posted June 4, 2013 That's what I would not choose to do. Air-con pipes not as easy to change as electrical wires.Btw do help me check out your solid surface.
