Problem With Aircon Contractor

We bought an air con unit with option to keep the existing unit, but the contractor only left the compressor and fancoil but took away the brackets and connectors even after knowing that we are going to use the old unit somewhere else.

Now the contractor is showing symptoms of trying to shrug away the responsibility even when the brackets were old units. Any one has any suggestions how to handle this situation pls?

(a) consumer-vendor negotiate for resolution

if still can't resolve...

(b) C.A.S.E.

if still no good...
