joyceching 1 Report post Posted November 17, 2012 Hi all, I've been doing intensive reading on several threads here and must say that it helped a lot when I was going on my shopping trips. And it's finally our turn to get our keys next week and begin our renovation, albeit a minor one.We are getting a 4-room corner unit from the sale of balance flats selection in AMK. Need to figure out how to post up pictures! So far, we have our refrigerator, Telly, hobs and laminates for our floors checked. Will only be doing up our kitchen(with a contractor) and dining area so will hope that everything gets done by Christmas! Photos up next!

joyceching 1 Report post Posted November 22, 2012 Went down to Balestier today to check out some lightings and ceiling fans, end up at Lights Arcade and decided to get them. Our Loot:1. Amasco 56" ceiling fan for living room2. Amasco 50" ceiling fans for all 3 bedrooms3. Kitchen lights + FOC storeroom light holder+lightOverall spending: 1118 including deliveryThe boss(Albert) was quite nice/straightforward and didn't really hard sell. Took his time to recommend and advise on the different brands. We have actually checked out amasco's fans and indeed his prices are quite competitive. Most of all, hubby felt comfortable parting with the money. Highly recommend to check out this place. Variety wise might not be many but if you know what you already want then you can go compare.
