How bad is the 'dust' problem? The design doesn't look complicated, and should not be difficult to clean? I have 2 standing fans and, boy do they trap dust (and fur)!

As promised, here is a pic of the fan after installation

Review

Very happy with the fan. Fits well with my house decor and is something different from conventional multi-blade fan.

What i love most is that the fan is totally SILENT. No sound at all even at "high" speed.

Wind wise is not bad, can feel a cooling breeze when on at high, not as powerful as a 5 blade fan i suppose but is enough for me.

I had it tottally flush mounted to the ceiling so there isn't a pole before the conical base, this is good as i find the HDB ceiling already quite low.

Quality of the product is good. The finishing is well done on both the blade and the metal base. It seems very stable also and there is no wobble when operating.

Overall that sums it up. I am very happy with it :dunno::P:D

My living room and dining room are together. It like 1 big room

Was wondering if I buy a 60" fan and put in the middle of the room will it be strong enough?

Or would a better idea to have 1 smaller fan at each end of the room?

my living and dining room is in a L-shape

living being the longer part of the L

i have a 60" fan in the middle of my living, and a 48" fan with lights for my dining

hope these info will help you make your decision :jawdrop:

Can you feel the wind in the dining room with just the 60" fan on?

Ours is just a big rectangle

hmm the 60" fan is in the middle of the longer side of the L

the dining is the shorter side of the L so can't get the wind from the fan

but if it's a rectangle i don't think there should be any problem

might be better to put one in the living coz the dining one tend to cool food down very fast :notti:

When searching for ceiling fan can also look out on the direction and spread of the wind flow which is of top priority to me.

Some fans only blow directly downwards, you only feel wind when below the fan.

Some can spread slightly sideway...you can feel below and maybe a few feet away.

Some spread very far away, you can feel the wind really circulating around - my favourite :sport-smiley-018:

Of cos all is only on the fan and blades design but should not be miss out when buying.

we intend to get fan w/lights for our bedrooms, will it be bright without any other lighting? looking for sleek black non-metal blade design w/light option to match modern concept, any recommendations? metal bladed ones considered "noisy" for rooms?
