I suppose delaying handover of flat is kind of common!Met up with contractor last weekend and he said handover of the flat would be on April 17th....plus/minus 1-2 days or so.

15th day of renovation

took less than a day to complete laying the parquet flooring for the bedrooms.. Next should be lacquer process.

If I'm not wrong it's about $6.50 Psf .. The whole of second floor cost about 4.4k including skirting

Are you referring to the stainless steel rack in the kitchen? If yes, no we won't be concealing it coz we are doing open concept kitchen but we do have glass panels and sliding door to prevent grease and smoke out of kitchen.

Really like your parquet floor, can you let me know the width of the parquet and also is that teak?

I wanted to get 3" wide wood strip, but yours look narrower and it's very nice already, maybe I will consider getting something narrower instead of 3".

I think it's 2" .. Not too sure of the actual wood material but should be teak? But I know its not old wood .. Think old wood cost even more .. Burmese old wood?

And we decided to bring our jack rascal terror to our new place.. She was very excited and started to explore every corner.. But the glass railing is not up yet so quite a concern on safety.. So decided to keep her leashed inside the house. We think she could sense this gonna be her new house hehe

This is foyer area with 2 lobangs.. As usual our rascal is a very kaypoh dog so she likes to stick her head out to peep. These 2 lobangs will be blocked for her safety.

That's all for now.. Thanks to the invention of smartphone that uploading and posting of pics are a breeze these days. We are still cracking our brain on how to block the staircase when we are not around to prevent rascal from running up. The normal baby gate can't be used.
