HondaSteam 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2012 Finally, we collected our house keys from the lady owner yesterday. My 2nd son made the grand opening...I'd a busy day fetching my family members & friends to & fro our new home... tiring but very excited!Today is an excellent day for starting the renovation, and I woke up @ 4am to catch the asuspicious timing, hammered the place to signify the beginning of "soil-moving" ceremony (if you know what I mean). potatoes 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2012 What is "soil moving" activity? Why need to wake up so early @4am? What do u mean by hammering? Hammer the door or the floor? Heehee

HondaSteam 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2012 The time-frame nine-to-eleven today wasn't good to commence renovation in the context of Feng Shui, so had to pick one before that as I wasn't on leave today. Both 1-3 & 3-5 am were asuspicious timing. The hammering is really a simple act to signify the beginning of renovation, the "soil-moving ceremony". Not to worry, I was very discreet, and you had to hit in the right directions somemore based-on some online Feng Shui references..

HondaSteam 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2012 (edited) I went to inspect the house on the first day of hacking:Not hacking the cabinet wall area to save hacking cost, revealing part (behind fridge) would be overlaid with wall tiles... HondaSteam 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2012 (edited) Although a low-flat unit, you would b surprize it's unblocked when looking up from the balcony. The feeling is great to be able to see my ride (not mine) !I love the balcony very much, it gives you an open feel as thought the balcony is not part of the building... Although its nice but for safetly.. Tell you a short story, 8 yrs ago when I jux got married and got a 4 room flat with my hubby, at that time the window grills were so old old fashion so told my husband to remove them away, regretted for what I've done and caused my 2 cats lives, they jump out of the window... I was so devasted so told my husband maybe we should install window grills but because of budget and also my heart was thinking I'm gg to sell away our flat (without letting my hubby know what I was thinking and planning), so in the end and most of the time our windows are closed. Now I've learnt my lesson whether I like it or not, because of my 2 young children and my pets, window grills are must must must!!!
