Ikea Kitchen

Hi, All

I am new to this forum. I am thinking of changing my kitchen cabinets and worktop. I am bit confuse; should I go for ikea or get contractor?

Ikea - 25 years of warranty lures me to get it but I don't have a good experience for their other furniture like chest of drawers.

Contractors - not sure about their warranty, workmanship, quality of material they use. How to look for good contractor/
