Window Grilles For Retractable Laundry System

Does anyone of you install these? as the laundry system actually makes closing of window grilles not possible, anyone has good design of such grilles. I've asked my contractor and he says no. Either you leaves grilles open when you put out laundry or u dun install such grilles.

I have got mine from ezy living.grilles have to be open..see below to understand..
