pariahbuster 0 Report post Posted October 29, 2012 Since there are so many Singaporean cars these days in JB, I would like to assume we are all looking for a cheaper option in properties and business. But BEWARE! There are many opportunistic, lying, not worth 2 cents con bastards ready to prowl on your pocket when given the chance.Since moving to JB 3 years ago, first a home at Horizon Hills, then investment properties and corporate offices around the Iskandar Belt, I have had my fair share of experiences.I sincerely hope this list would grow to help advise fellow Singaporeans, or even our Malaysian friends to stay away from the parasites if you're looking to start something here. Time to hold some of them accountable!Let's start with the worst of them all;Homlux - with showrooms in Melodies, Nusa Bestari and Molekhttp://homlux.com.my/Thinking I would be able to get a good deal with an integrated furniture supplier (this is how they will position themselves) for my house and office, I fell for the bargain chip when I bought office systems and chairs from them. Not only were the delivered items not what we ordered, they didn't allow us to return or exchange them! And the attitude was horrible, having to mention a lady ***** boss named Mei, her 'justification' on their screw up on orders by pushing the responsibility back to you was just appalling to say the least. She even tried intimidating her customers on how long she has been in the furniture business in JB and how well 'connected' she is locally - a Goodfella selling furniture? Complete morons leaving you to wonder how people like this can even exist in a modern society, moreover in business for so long! I took the high road and threw the furniture out the next day to make my pointI recently also had a friend who did the worst mistake of buying a sofa from them, what they delivered was not what they promised, and they even used threats when he asked for a refund. He eventually got his way though, but had to pay for the transportation cost - ridiculous! He vowed never to return to this shop, nor interact with their incompetent staff (one of them even mentioned he is not the only customer with complaints and he is looking for another job!)So I hope this will help do justice for all who are like my friend, of whom I failed in advising. I hope this will do the job for you future buyers out there. And please contribute when you can as it is about time that these con bastards are held accountable and may JB's Iskandar project will emerge as a safe, successful and prosperous development in the very near futureIt will be a WIN-WIN for all, except these oxygen thieves

Dennis 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2012 Great sharing... I have terrible experience with furniture shop at Bt Indah Jusco as well... Homelife. They totally dont have any after sales service. They never allow customer to reject the delivery of problem furnitures. We was asking to indicate all issue on the DO and wait for replacement which in turn never happened. Despite of many calls made to them, no one seems like bother. Manager do not seem like solving my problem, what they focus is only sales......Whatever promise, written on order form just didnt have any legal bidding at the end of the day. sad. kalimantan 6 Report post Posted October 31, 2012 singapore herself is consider one of the most lawful country, and yet some un-scruplous retailer still exists ...what do you think of malaysia ?singapore at least still use lemon law ...malaysia use threats ...come on guys ..i am not against malaysia, but do they really give a care of after-sales service ?If things are cheap, it means NOT Substainable ! come on, if you guys want after-sales service, etc, there must be a price to pay.I remember a logo in a real full grain sofa italian company : it says "cheap leather, prepare to buy more" ...Unless our government OWNS JB CITY, then there is HOPE.
