Hello,

Any one has ideas or experiences to share in setting up batt-operated Closet Door Light control - possiblity of installing some lights (LED strip i.e) which can be powered by battery, and controlled by closing and opening doors.

Parts, Diagrams or narratives would be appreciated!

Can buy a automatic infra-red motion sensing light online from Q0010 for less than $ 16/=. It has 8 LEDs running on 2 AA batteries. Turn on immediately on human presence and turn off in about 20 seconds when doors shut. Battery drain only about 10 uA when idling and 100mA when lights on..
