❥❥❥ Petite House For Petite Family❥❥❥

Recommended Posts

Hello Reno-Talkers !! Finally !! After yearsss of following up with people's T-Blog now it's my turn to blog ;)

Applied this BTO on 2009 *about 3 years back* a veeeeeery long wait.. but worth it! Here's our floor plan, just nice for a small petite family (me, hubby and our 2 lil angels) ahaks!

floorplan_zps7c343911.jpg

Champions Court is located near to the Singapore Sports School and Causeway Point Shopping Mall (it's about 10mins walk), apart from that our new house also surrounded by few other schools! I don't think I will need an alarm clock to wake up early morning heh :P

One year before to our probable completion date we already start searching and asking quotation from ID's.. hahaha! excited much till one day we met this ID at IMM; and the price he quoted for our house are just nice and within our budget.. so, we signed up the contract with him *when think back, me and hubby kinda regret* but anyway.. we already prepared for the worst but still praying for the best tho !!

Early 2012: Day by day, month by month - we've been following up the building progress very very closely. Our blk are the second last to complete in this project and most of the barricade around our blk have been removed !!

Sneak peek of Champions Court estate :)

Ouh ya and this is the view form our Living Room.. hmmm not bad

Glad that our unit have less defects and zero cracks on the walls, just minor minor things to report:

  • Low water pressure, loose glue main door frames rubber, lil dent on living room's window frames

After checking defects on site, we have another appointment with our ID at Hafary, TradeHub21.. to choose our tiles!!! yeay :sport-smiley-004:

and here's the homo tiles color we choose, swee swee and within the budget given by our ID ($2.50 - $3.00psf) :sport-smiley-018:

2012-10-03130004_zpsfb88f4be.jpg

we pick this clr because i like it to be plain and love the glossy shiny look! hope this will brighten my small unit and make it looks spacious. not sure if this is beige, off white or light grey?? :dunno:

and chose this checkered tiles for my kitchen entrance flooring border

2012-10-03125800_zps9f37b4a3.jpg

thought of taking mosaic tiles for the (between dining & kitchen entrance flooring border), but ID said mosaic is hard to maintain the grout line haizz..

CSI-093_zpsc2ba3f23.jpg

CraftBrick - Austin, CSI-093 for our bricks wall yeay!

2012-10-13163736_zpsab5a6fe6.jpg

we bought 12 cartons of them direct from the factory at Ayer Hitam, Johor Bahru

Hafary quoted us for $95/carton but factory quoted us RM85/carton ($35 Singapore dollars!)

so total we paid RM1, 020.00 inclusive FREE DELIVERY to my dad's JB crib at Larkin :)

I spent only SGD500 for 12cartons craftbricks!!!

5th Oct 12 - Another Appointment With ID, Electrical Workers & Window Grilles

Took another leave on Friday, as our ID need to re-confirm the false ceiling layout, hacking walls, additional&relocation of SCV & power points, wardrobe size, kitchen cabinets size and etc

and we have confirmed with Alex from alexwindow.blogspot.com to do our service yard sliding window 3panels, whole house grilles and 2 bi-fold toilet doors.

sample photo of the bi-fold door we chosed:

bifolddoor-powderwhitecoated_zps9b39441a.jpg

white and simple!!! i loike!

not sure if this considered reasonable price or X !! but I have tried my best to bring down the price to $1, 800/- for all the above works.

  • $600 for sliding window at svc yard (3 panels)
  • $700 whole house grilles (svc yard, living room, common bedroom & master besroom)
  • $500 for bi-fold doors (white powder coated with white acrylic)

Total: $1, 800.00

is this expensive??? :dunno:
