June 13 Report post Posted September 28, 2013 (edited) Thanks, it's a cheaper alternative to a customized one. I made a trip to ikea after seeing this pix on its website .photo.JPG by BachelorettePad, on FlickrPlan to buy a hydroponic home kit for herbs and put it on top of this table. Makanology 29 Report post Posted September 28, 2013 We went to Ikea yesterday and some of their new stuff is really promising! Their new Stockholm range looks good but I find it a tab costly if compared against the quality. Both your new chair & buffet table blend well with your decor! sarah833 3 Report post Posted September 29, 2013 Yaman! Besides drilling assembling or moving things around can be quite a big challenge! I just spent more than 45 mins to reposition my hammock into a swing! Decided to ditch the chunky metal chains I used in the past and had to reposition 4 super tight figure-8 knotts on the mountain climbing ropes for it to use as a yoga swing. 20130929_102801 by Sarahbj3b, on Flickr

June 13 Report post Posted September 29, 2013 (edited) My pipe shelves were finally painted this week and I'm happy with how they look now. This time I made it a point to watch how my ID created the tarnished look (unlike the time when he was doing the pipes at my tv console) and I was amazed by the whole process! Here are some shots... photo.JPG by BachelorettePad, on Flickrphoto.JPG by BachelorettePad, on FlickrThe painting of the pine wood shelves was most difficult and time consuming..it involved sanding and painting and more sanding. Like all other trades, any photography or description of secret methods and secret tools is prohibited. As im not sure what is secret and what is not, I will skip the process and just post pix of the product.photo.JPG by BachelorettePad, on Flickrphoto.JPG by BachelorettePad, on Flickrphoto.JPG by BachelorettePad, on Flickrphoto.JPG by BachelorettePad, on FlickrIm surprised that pine wood grains can look so good!
