June 13 Report post Posted September 24, 2013 (edited) Pipe shelves - installationSome overdue pix of my pipe shelves in the raw, yet to be painted state.photo.JPG by BachelorettePad, on Flickrphoto.JPG by BachelorettePad, on Flickr[/urlphoto.JPG by BachelorettePad, on Flickrphoto.JPG by BachelorettePad, on Flickrphoto.JPG by http://www.flickr.com/people/98394563@N08/]BachelorettePad, on Flickr The shelves and pipes were painted today and the result is SIMPLY AMAZING!! The pine wood shelves now have a dark, vintage look with beautiful grains and the pipes are nicely 'rusted' (yes, rust can be beautiful). The entire structure complements my dining table very well. Will take pix soon and post them here. Edited September 24, 2013 by June

June 13 Report post Posted September 25, 2013 Wow JuneI love everything about your house! Am not a fan of industrial design but you simply make it so so nice!thanks! i used to be a closet admirer of industrial design and didnt think i would have the guts to have industrial elements in my home decor. but nowadays im seeing more industrial design in cafes and shops.. that kind of motivated me to use pipes in my decor...and of course my ID is 'bad influence'... Unfortunately im not willing to spend so much on a brick wall. so got to make do with white wall.
