June 13 Report post Posted July 31, 2013 (edited) one of my first housewarming gifts..photo.JPG by BachelorettePad, on Flickrphoto.JPG by BachelorettePad, on FlickrID thinks anything that has the Union Jack is manly...but I think otherwise... I feel that Union Jack stuff can be feminine too. When I see the Union Jack, I think of English high tea, William and Kate, Harrods, Spice Girls etc... :) What do u think? June 13 Report post Posted July 31, 2013 Really love this vintage Parisian room divider.. will be good for shielding my room from the nosey parkers in the next block. But not sure if it will end up in my storeroom collecting dust.photo.JPG by BachelorettePad, on Flickr

June 13 Report post Posted August 6, 2013 (edited) hello!! After so many weeks of slow-mo unpacking and cleaning, I'm finally done! The things are unpacked and the floor is finally squeaky clean. And I'm proud to declare that there is NO MORE POWDERY FEELING!. kudos to myself for single handedly mopped, scrubbed, scrapped and vacuumed my entire flat! The time I spent cleaning my flat is enough for me to fly to Canada and back many many times! Here's my 'bistro' kitchen ... I'm still moving things around so that my kitchen is functional and at the same time, pleasing to the eyephoto.JPG by BachelorettePad, on Flickrphoto.JPG by BachelorettePad, on FlickrA closer look at my 'secret compartment' - some of my switches are hidden in the first drawer. The pull down door can be pushed into the drawer so that I won't bang into it when cooking.photo.JPG by BachelorettePad, on FlickrThe opposite side of the kitchenphoto.JPG by BachelorettePad, on FlickrView of dining area from the kitchenphoto.JPG by BachelorettePad, on Flickr Edited August 6, 2013 by June
