sarah833 3 Report post Posted June 16, 2013 (edited) dont rush into getting a towel rack or toilet paper holder which doesnt quite match Miss Perfectionist expectation :-) How about DIY one using wood or other material? I have seen an apartment in spain using thewall mount white metal shelf from IKEA's ?garden furniture section (IKEA alexsandra has it at the showroom on the second floor on the left near the escalator entrance together with a few rattan chairs and potted plants) outside the bathroom to hang towels. I quite like it and was considering thr same but settled for the LEKSVIK rack with hooks in white in the end. http://www.ikea.com/sg/en/catalog/products/80181450/http://www.google.com.sg/search?q=wooden+towel+rack&client=tablet-android-samsung&hl=en-GB&source=android-browser-suggest&v=141338691&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=XUm-UZbZAYiBrgeUvYC4BQ&ved=0CEIQsAQ&biw=1280&bih=800your "great wall of china" is looking good. lucky you didnt go for a darker tone laminate as suggested by your ID! Still searching for my dream yoga posters and thinking if I shoud gef a girl with ballon painted/pasted on the wall.I am guessing you bought the white MALM chest of drawers during sales for the hack? June 13 Report post Posted June 20, 2013 ID also helped me put up the ledge in the kitchen. This is for me to put pictures, condiments or anything small for decorative purpose.Basically he's created a big blank canvas for me to decorate whatever way I want. I can turn my kitchen into something modern by placing trendy knick knacks on the ledge, or I could extend the rustic industrial look in the living room and dining room into the kitchen by having chalkboard, maison jars, rusty pots, and utensils hung on the wall etc. Looks like I'm going to have lots of fun decorating the kitchen!ID uses this app on his iPhone to check that the ledge is straight. Very interesting app!bathroom accessories in MBR are also up and I'm glad I have managed to avoid the use of stainless Steel and glass accessories, except for my toilet paper holder, which I didn't have time to go hunt for alternatives.
