Ignatiuz 0 Report post Posted October 11, 2012 Hi, The hook I'm referring to is this kind. For my wedding frame, I used 4 of these in a row and hang my frame string across. So far 1 and half year, no problem.Another idea is if you don't want to drill or hammer, u can buy hooks that use super glue to stick to your wall.I used that for my wall clock as it is too heavy for 3M hook.Hope that help. Erwinong 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2012 Brylina, yes that's true.Ignatiuz, that's a good idea. Haven't seen it done b4. For those interested, I've got news from 3M that even if we increase the number of strips or hooks, it does not mean the weight limit they can hold will be increased. So got to be careful about this. therat 18 Report post Posted October 12, 2012 So far, it is doing fine now. Also we are moving to our new flat end of this year, i always wonder whether 3M really doesnt stick to the wall after removal.Edited: We have use some other products from 3M as well, no issue with the 'stick'. (eg: towel hanger/holder, sponge holder, hooks, and also the one with a shape like a small basket).Thing is, 3M states that there will be no 'leftover' after removal. Which we have yet to try, since their products nvr fell off before, lol. But we shall know by end of this year, when we are moving out.No leftover if you follow 3M instruction of removal the wall sticker.I had remove the sticker use by the strip and the hook type. Ciel2333 0 Report post Posted November 22, 2021 I have 3M hooks to hold a picture in my livingroom and use others to hang towels in bathroom and kitchen. I have them for 3 months and they still work well now. https://www.yigii.com/product-category/for-kitchen/hooks/adhesive-wall-hooks-hooks/
