Full Wall Mirror

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

Just joined this forum so not sure if this is where I should post regarding my question.

Well I plan to have one side of my Living Room wall full mirror.

Anybody done it before? Is there anything I should look out for, Pros n Cons etc?

Thanks

Ya Venom, that is my intention. But worry it will crack sooner or later.

crack sooner or later?? :dunno: due to what?kids/bobo people?

as long as you secure it properly onto the wall,i cant tink of any high chances it will crack by itself.

my old hse's one been hanging for more than 5yrs le,nothing happen le.

Mirror should be installed with plywood backing and silicone joints. No risks of cracks.

But think twice before doing a large wall, it can be disturbing. Usually, small wall (like near dining table, corner, etc...) is nice but very large wall can be too much.

Full mirror **** room ? length ? I presume u mena those 1 piece mirror usually seen in the gym, ballet room yes?

There will be an issue if your staying in HDB/ condo and high level cos of door entrance dimension restriction ,lift, staircase constraints. If u staying at landed then no problem at all :jammin:
