Use any mop as long as long as it does scratch the floor, Bona "Wood Floor Cleaner is also good. Mopping is about using the water/liquid to dissolve and clean away the dirt.

I remember using the the HCL89 from http://hcl89.byethost10.com for my timber floor some time ago, it managed to polish my timber floorings like glass it was a rather good product.

Good thing i like about it was it actually acted as a sealer and sealed the timber flooring for me which i find important because in a humid weather like ours its always better to seal any natural wood tiles to prevent moisture so that the wood tiles won't age so fast.

Its more than that actually because hardwood is tougher and might be resistant to elements unlike parquet over the long term

Never thought about that but you are quite right because hardwood can definately last longer that parquet and also when it come to maintenance, hardwood would require much less maintenance than parquet
