Living Room (this area had stuff piled everywhere, so I only took a picture of the boy's favorite light, mounted on the wall.)Can you share where you bought this lamp from and the price? We got this lamp from Stevie General Store (also known as World Savage) at Bussorah Street. They're a vintage store and I think they usually only have 1 of everything, so I don't think they'll have this lamp anymore. But they have other very interesting lights, you can check them out here. summersann 6 Report post Posted January 27, 2013 COOL! I even like your windows... Did you get them separately or are they part of the quotation? No grills?haha if you're referring to the black strips, they're just stickers that will be removed later on! I did think they were interesting though, with the black strips, hahaha we hired an ID and didn't source for our own window maker, so it was all quoted to us by them (in the original quotation, not variation order). We're only installing grills for the windows facing the corridor on the first floor. The grills aren't installed yet though.
Makanology 29 Report post Posted January 27, 2013 Hmm is there any way to keep the black stickers? They really jazz up the windows right? Maybe I will get my HTB to paint our windows
summersann 6 Report post Posted January 27, 2013 (edited) Hmm is there any way to keep the black stickers? They really jazz up the windows right? Maybe I will get my HTB to paint our windows I guess you could just leave the stickers there if you wanted and not peel them off but they may fall off eventually. Windows are usually powder coated to preserve the colors, so I'm not sure if window makers will powder coat it this way for you. You could spray paint it yourself, but it won't be scratch-resistant. It's a different feel though, black strips vs. just one uniform color I stared at the windows for a while, deciding if I liked it with black strips better. I have to say, the black strips give the windows character, but full white windows help to enhance the space better (gives a lighter feel to the whole place).
