summersann 6 Report post Posted March 4, 2013 Is the dimensions of the EZ lift 4 standard or do they custom measure/build it for your space? Also, how much?Thks!Think the dimensions are pretty standard. You can add poles, but the width is still the same. They just punch in more holes in the same width for you to slot in more poles. The dimensions are fixed. We got it at $420. summersann 6 Report post Posted March 4, 2013 (edited) @summersan Did you see the retro Yamaha iPhone dock @ Courts Tampines? Alas you bought your Philips or else you can consider the Yamaha. Would look great with your SMEG Makanology, is this the one you're referring to? We've seen quite a few Yamaha ones around, but the sound isn't the best, especially considering the price tag! We're still shopping around for another mini system for my mom though, so still looking for good buys! nice touch though, thinking about the smeg, heh. The speaker will be for the bedroom though! bleucheeze 1 Report post Posted March 4, 2013 (edited) Finally ordered our laundry system yesterday! After much consideration, we decided to go with the EZ Lift 4. It's more cumbersome to pull up and down, but lighter and safer. EZ Hi-Dry was something we were also interested in, but found it too bulky and not as user-friendly. Tames' version of the Hi-Dry was much lighter, but didn't feel as durable. Handover on 8 march! *fingers crossed*i juz ordered the EZ Lift 4 today as well hmm, did both of you go to their showroom to order or did they went down to your place? i have a super small yard area, may need their advice to see which system is more suitable... Just give one of the salespersons a ring to arrange for a site assessment. Deposit can be made in cash or cheque.

You may want to do so first if you haven't seen such a system in person before. And then do what retchlow suggests and arrange for an on-site consultation after u've seen it in person. Got distracted by the Bosch fridges nearby heehee and then the SMEG If you're looking for such a sound system, just make sure you test the sound and decide if you like it! We found this Yamaha one too airy and didn't think it justified the hefty price tag I liked the Bosch fridge when I first saw it too! But it was too stout for us, still prefer the smeg. You can use retchlow's contact and get one if you really want one
summersann 6 Report post Posted March 4, 2013 (edited) Maybe it's just me, but I like to do a general search on a product before I get it, just so I know what I'm getting myself into So this is for the ladies.I've always wanted a hair dryer that functions like those they use in hair salons, because no matter how I blow my hair at home, it never turns out as well as when they do it in the salon. I just want my hair to be done without having to stand there for ages (in my case, ages means anything more than 10 minutes ). Just got this from the pre-renovation sale at courts toa payoh. Been using it for a few days. It has 6 different speed settings, a super slim nozzle for styling, a volume diffuser and apparently also has IonBreeze. Don't know about that, but I'm loving it!Helps that it looks sleek too Edited March 4, 2013 by summersann

But I don't ever have to cuz I don't need it to be that powerful I got it for about $100 (can't remember exactly ). Original price was about $130.

I can never get it right either. It'll still be messy and out of shape. But I have to say this one is quite good so far. Been working well! I wouldn't use it to blow dry my dog though. It's powerful, so I don't want to scare him haha
