VicknesvaranSilvaguru 0 Report post Posted September 14, 2012 Hi GuysMy wife and I went thru a home tragedy yesterdayfor information's sake we stay on the 2nd floor of a hdb blockWe had left home in the morning to work and went I returned home first in the evening, several hours later i found my house flooded,yes floodedThe waterpipe connecting to the washing machine had come loose and water was just gushing outthis must have been going on for several hours as when i was at the door water was flowing outneedless to say i turned the tap off and went to inspect our homeour whole house had at least 3 to 5 cm of water all overfrom the hall to the rooms to the kitchenthe problem now is that our 3 bedrooms have laminate flooring which is now considered totally destroyed considering how many hours they have been under watertaking into consideration we have a platform built in our master bedroom we believe that water might have seeped underneath it as welldoes anyone at all know if this means that a full reno work has to be done for all three rooms?and if so any sort of estimated cost?we're also considering tiles as the pain of seeing the laminates destroyed is too hard to bearwould love to hear any thoughts Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
