My parent had just engaged inspiration Id - Mr Toh Kim Huat for their 5rm flat Reno. Was told that granite form India was the best for tabletop. However only limited dark colour for selection, which resulted my mum unhappiness as she prefer lighter colour for her kitchen tabletop. Total Reno cost quote was around $25k. Hope work and quality of the material given are good. Had seen their workman ship at other unit and seems to be fine. Will update further at a later date.

Hi sccy2,

Just gotten the design drawn up from Mr Toh. It did not meet my basic expectation. So many error. Was told by mr Toh that it was his mistake that he did not relay the correct message to the designer. And the designs seems to be duplicated and same as others. When question, he ask me what design I want and in short asking me to design myself. There are also things that he promise and not written down and ask us to pay more. Rather disappointed with him. And also felt limited choices for us to choose from.

My mum end up getting granite unwillingly as mr Toh claim that quarts is more expensive and quality is not as good as granite.

opps, how can quartz quality be not as good as granite... If can change and your kitchen top isn't that long to blow up the cost, opt for quartz...

Hi Gwen,

I read from another forum (can't remember where) that Mr Toh is particular just a contractor (know nothing about designing). So basically he may not able to convey or relay well about designs. But not doubt the capentary work is good - as for mine which is not done by him - workmanship not really good - still acceptable. But at least my contractor - George still take my call if I face any prob with the capentary issues (after reno for 1/2 yr)

Now my parent flat is under reno. So far so good. In the end, my mum still use granite as quarts too ex and Mr Toh say that it is not as good compare to granite. Will update more in future. Cabinet almost done. Wardrobe done- nice.

Hi all, more update....

Personally I was not very please with the workmanship. I find it relatively poor. Maybe I am more particular. Still ok but not a good for workmanship. And probably Mr Toh is forcusing too much engaging more projects with other residents at punggol residences.i find that our message to certain things are not being passed to the worker. Also he promise that he would match nice colour for the cabinet was all but a lie. He claim that he was busy at the moment. And he din follow up. More to say I am quite disappointed as one of their worker. He flare up at me because I told others I don like the colour and design of the cabinet shortly after he was being told off by Mr Toh for their work not done properly.
