muzamm 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2012 (edited) Hello there! Just like many of you, I have decided to start a t-blog.Read a few blogs and have seen some real amazing and gorgeous homes. So here goes....Ours is Dew Spring in Yishun 4-room 93sqm. It's a new estate for us and it's pretty far from amenities. But we'll get use to it. Seen some scandinavian and modern home. But we're going back with "the classic english" look but with a twist.Hopefully it turns out well. muzamm 0 Report post Posted September 2, 2012 (edited) We're waiting for key collection. Maybe in two months time or so? We have purchased the sales of balance flat in march 2012. Meanwhile, we look-look-see-see.. Our intention is to start the renovation soon after we've collected the keys. We dont intend to drag, hopefully we can move in before new year. Also we have settled with a contractor(Ed) instead of ID. Edited October 30, 2012 by muzamm

muzamm 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2012 (edited) Hello again, it has been sometime that we have collected the keys. Been busy with errands that ive ignored my own tblog. Hehe soooo.... We have bought our lightings, hood and hob, sink, mixer, some toilet accessories etc. Will upload photos soon. However im in a dilemma if i should get a granite counter top or just solid surface. If granite its only black in colour and its long lasting. If quartz its over my budget, so forget it. The only reason im contemplating to take solid surface is because i want a white counter to match my purple (berenjena) cabinates. With handles or none.... If with handles i was thinking of classic ones.. Not sure if it will look weird. Any comments? My ideas are to do cornice and beading. Soft lavender walls, chanderlier and a fire place if there is enough space. not sure if having wallpaper is a good idea. As i have two little man. Eldest is 2yrs and another turning 1 come end november. Edited October 30, 2012 by muzamm

muzamm 0 Report post Posted November 1, 2012 Hihi.. I need help..Anyone kind enough to share your experience in using frosted glass door for the toilet? Contemplating to change or not to change. I dont really like the acrylic bifold door. I saw someone using the white louvres bifold door. But forgot whose tblog it was to ask where they got theirs. But quote us 1040 for 2 frosted glass door. Im not sure if thats a ripped off or reasonable enough. Also im wondering if there is other material for casement door good for toilet. I dont want those acrylic kind as the toilet is facing out towards other bedrooms. You know what i mean... New bto layout. Headache already. Haha.
