I'm not sure if both of you are wrong OR the HDB Customer Service Operator that I have asked before about that,

she told me that the short term rental not allowed is for the "WHOLE FLAT" subletting,

but for the room renting out is ok as long as you follow the eligibility conditions.

please refer to your black and white..Did the officer email you that she confirmed can rent out ? or maybe you got the information a few yrs back when everything is more "relax"

aniway.. not only hdb cannot rent out for less than 6 mths. Pte also cannot if you refer to ura website.
