jordanchang 0 Report post Posted August 24, 2012 (edited) hi all, i got my keys earlier this month and am very excited about the upcoming reno process. so many ideas but pity, the pocket not deep enough. have learned a fair bit through t-blogs here but still need plenty of advice from the seasoned forummers who have actually went through a reno. so, i am creating my own t-blog to ask questions (pls bear with me), monitor the process and hopefully serve as a guide for other noobs in future. below is my floor plan and photos will be uploaded by the weekend; Edited August 24, 2012 by jordanchang

jordanchang 0 Report post Posted September 7, 2012 never knew that renovating is such a tiring yet exciting project to undertake! plan was revised and re-drawn after consulting the various stakeholders involved...so many things to take into consideration. below are photos of the place before renovation. engaged a contractor (not ID) who is a family friend.LIVING ROOMplanning to hack the left wall (to the kitchen). undecided about the right wall as there is an ugly gas pipe behind it. any recommendations? contractor suggest to hack but leave a balance. i thinking of doing a cabinet to hide it instead.UGLY GAS PIPE

jordanchang 0 Report post Posted September 7, 2012 TOILETwill be hacking part of the wall separating the WC/shower, so there are "bigger" entrances. not hacking the inside as we want to keep them separate. any idea why the height of the toilets are different too? the ceiling height of the WC is much lower...because of beam?
