For my case, they came in to do the inspection on the first day I collected my keys, before hacking began. I If there's infestation they will have to perform treatment before your hacking can begin. Otherwise once you've hacked, they will come in to inject the chemicals before your tiler can lay the tiles.

Actually once you've confirmed the pest control, just get your contractor or id to liaise with them. That's what I did, for all other works I procured on my own as well. After procurement I will just pass their contacts to my ID and he will arrange with them.

do go with Rentokil. They are still the best in the market. They give HSBC card holder 10percent discount and Citibank ready credit 20percent discount. Ask the sales person to give you a good price before your commit.

PEST CONTROL COMPANIES

I actually met up with three pest control companies before deciding to use Rentokil.

Reason : I love to do my homework before I decide

1. Rxxxxxxx

3. Sxxx xxxx xxxxxxx

company 1, recommended by Fellowrumers, first one to quote and wanted me to sign the contract and start his work. I held back because all the furnitures have not been cleared and I wanted to confirm my renovator contractor first. They can drill thru my marble tiles and patch it up to the nearest colour. Of course I still have to out something to hide the holes but hey it's worth it to do the pre treatment.

Company 2, was recommended by a relative came down to view the place. They have no confident to drill on my marble flooring as they fear it will crack the marble and they have to compensate me. The price and package is reasonable only if you are not drilling your existing marble floor.

Company 3 was recommended by Fellow foreummer but he did it make an effort to visit my place. The sales person asked me to email him my floor plan and quoted over email. I am a little skeptical over this form of customer service their company is not willing to do roof treament if the space is enclosed . At that time I told him that the roof is accessible by manhole and he did not asked me if I am changing the false ceiling.but the questions he asked really turn me off. So I strike him out after that conversation.

so to conclude, go with the leaders. There is not much price difference. Believe me, I have done my homework.
