Gazingstarz 0 Report post Posted August 16, 2012 My staircase : before and after (with my dirty footprints =p)I will love to have yr wrought iron railings =)I like yr marbled flooring. In good condition. My 2 cts worth If you vanish the wood panels in a more modern tone like walnut or dark brown or paint in,white, it can have a contemporary feel.Maybe you should take a walk to places like Duxton place , Ann Siang road to see the facades with such window panels and get inspiration. Then for your kitchen , toilet, go for clean look and single tone earthly colour so the theme won't clash too badly.Yr study room looks gd too. With a new coat of paint , it can brighten up,the place. Think if you install sliding door, the cornice will have to go.

potatoes 0 Report post Posted August 18, 2012 Hi potatoes, will not go for overhaul due to budget constraints. Also, we not intend to stay there for long. So won't spent much too. Aiks.. buying house is easy, reno is headache man..In that case, then minor reno would be sufficient. If it is move in condition, u may not even have to do anything. How long do u intend to stay in this EM? Anyway the "Chinatown" theme is very unique.
