zck 0 Report post Posted August 9, 2012 Hi,We balloted for a Sale of Balance flat in Sept last year and although our number was not so good at 4xx, luckily we still managed to secure a flat. Just started reno recently and hopefully everything goes smoothly. Kitchen is a bit cramped since the bomb shelter door is there and the kitchen and washroom tile designs could have been better. Here's a copy of the floorplan:Living Room:MBR:MBR washroom:Kitchen:

zck 0 Report post Posted August 18, 2012 Original MBR Washroom:Wanted darker tiles to achieve the look in the photo below:However, both the washrooms are very tiny, so ID recommended to use white tiles instead so that it would look spacious. You can see almost the full length of the tiny MBR washroom from left to right in this photo already. zck 0 Report post Posted August 25, 2012 My fengshui master recommended that I place the cooker hob (preferably 3 burners) in the centre of the kitchen. Anyone have heard of this or other tips to share? To follow this advice, my original intention is to place the cooker hob as shown below. However, my mum realised that the drainage pipe is right above and below the stove - (apparently not good for the health of the occupants). So I'm shifting it to the left next to the bomb shelter door to avoid the pipe. My ID, Wee Kuang (Wawe Design - hes very good in giving me lots of ideas to fit into the constraints of the house layout and opinions from my fengshui master and my mum) suggest that I install a chimmney hood instead of the usual case-type hood to improve the look. However, my cooker hob will be quite small about 60 cm. Any suggestions for places to view cooker hobs?
