Hi Crypaz,

Will you share with me more images on your concrete sink area and its interior under the sink itself? Did your carpentry cover the area under the sink with wood too? I am trying to convince this idea in my discussion with ID, but need more fotos to visualise it...

Appreciate in advance.

Thanks :dancingqueen: :dancingqueen: :dancingqueen:

Hi...i dun know in detail but base on the invoice it's written as "CT800"...For my kitchen i find 3 track lights not bright enough intend to add another one...

As for my living room i'm using warm light meant for the wall decal...

If your areas is small (like my kitchen) then it's okay...but the lighting shop did advise for kitchen due to the cooking..when the track gets dirty will be difficult to clean...but if you doing mostly light cooking then it's okay.

Hi, my carpenter only over the outer area with wood, the area under the sink is still the tiles...

It's advised by my carpenter to have the sink support in case of leakage then your wood wouldn't get damage.

Will share more picture when i go down to see the progress of the reno.

=D thanks for prompt reply! btw, is it LED lights or energy saving lights on the track? ya.. i was worried that the lights would get dirty too.. but i've read that the hood would help a lot in terms of oil extraction, and i dun think we'd doing too much deep frying (at most get a deep fryer?) so hopefully it'd be fine =D curiously, u're shining the lights on the cabinets?

Mine is LED lights...i didn't even install hood in the kitchen cause i dun know how to clean it so i decided to do away with it...i do mainly light cooking..steaming or just boil soup..or at times use oven to bake chicken...husband is health conscious...no fried food.

I plan to shine the lights on the table top instead...currently the area is not bright enough so i have to on the service yard light to help brighten the kitchen. Hopefully once i add another track light to the kitchen, it will be much better.

oooo.. maybe when u talk to them, u can try asking for a 8W and above LED bulb with a larger degree of light dispersion? normally when they intro the bulbs, they'll say 'this is a 8W light bulb 35 degree' or something similar.. the degree is an indication of how dispersed the light is.. the lower the degree (e.g. at 26 degree) the light functions more like a spotlight.. whereas at 35, it is more dispersed and might be better for the kitchen.. we also want LED tracks for the kitchen.. but in lieu of the light brightness, we're considering if we should switch to energy saving bulbs on track - but the housing is really quite huge!! rawrrr

woo…thanks for sharing… perhaps in terms of light dispersion, mine is of a lower degree? Cause inside my track light there's actually 3 round lights

When I bought the lights I only ask if it's bright enough. The sales staff showed to me and it was so bright that I can't look at it directly.

I treat the track lights as part of kitchen deco. If I'm not using track lights, I might go for pendant light instead for the kitchen.
