julia1 0 Report post Posted August 5, 2012 Hi All,We just bought a 5 room resale flat hence (36 yrs old) hence our renovation budget is very tight. we will really like to keep the Terrazzo tiles instead of doing an overlay of laminate. Any comments or experience to share ? thanks and regardsEven if we were to retain the tiles - it must be at the costs that we are able to remove the stains to the terrazzo tiles. Any recommendations for professional terrazzo tiles cleaners? Thanks much
Gymrat76 0 Report post Posted August 14, 2012 Don't know about you unit, but for our 30+ year old resale, the tiles felt hollow when you walked on them, some parts more than others. We opted to hack away the floor and replace with new tiles.
funnymatthew 1 Report post Posted August 21, 2012 hi julia,i can recall my renovation experience that budget is always a concern... but overlaying with laminate in my experience is not a durable solution, esp if you have children.perharps re-polishing the terrazzo is better choice than laminate overlay.
